chaos, theory in use,action learning, process v task, change, transition.
All these concepts and models are integral to the work of a consultant.
The more you know about them, the better you can make use of them when
the time and opportunity is right.
Consultants don't go around thinking 'today I will apply 'x' to this
situation' For a time, when an idea or model is new, we can all apply
them via the process described in skills acquisition. The good consultant
then embeds them into their thinking and they become part of their intuitive
practice.
